Tiffany ChouNational Taiwan Normal University
Taiwanese Vice Chair Tiffany is currently a senior at National Taiwan Normal University majoring in English. In the Spring of 2017, she applied for a two-week educational internship at University of British Columbia and observed classes in the local middle schools. As a result of this experience, she fell in love with the feeling of traveling around the world and making friends along the way, thus made up her mind to apply for an exchange program in Australia. Tiffany spent half a year studying at Australian National University, where she had traveled along the east coast as a backpacker often by herself. Being a backpacker, she could take a closer look at the cities and observe the Aussie daily life. She started chats with random people, met new friends, and told them about Taiwan by sharing her life stories. In her travels, her connections with people from around the world have developed her desire to better understand cultural differences and build deep connections with people from across the world.
As a TASC 2018 delegate, Tiffany was once again reminded of the joy of sharing fun facts about Taiwan. She was able to explore a variety of issues from different angles as well thanks to the American delegates. She hopes to bring this enlightenment to others who share her same passion in learning more about Taiwan and American cultures. |
