Allison is a senior majoring in Linguistics and minoring in Chinese at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. She first realized her passion for language and culture when she started learning Chinese in college. This passion has driven her interest in building cross-cultural relations. In the 2015 TASC she saw the power of cooperation among diversity in solving global issues, which motivated her to continue building US-Taiwan relations in the 2016 TASC. She loves Taiwan because of the unique people, beautiful scenery and rich culture. After TASC 2016 she will spend a year in Nanjing China for study and internship. In her free time, she likes to stay active by running, hiking, and exploring the outdoors.
