​Hailing from the Greater Boston area, Diallo graduated from Yale University in 2014 with a degree in Linguistics. He first visited Taiwan in 2014 on vacation, and was fortunate to have the chance to return in 2015 as one of TASC’s American delegates. He remained in Taiwan after the conference, and is currently studying Mandarin (while dabbling in Taiwanese on the side) at National Taiwan University as a recipient of the Huayu Enrichment Scholarship. (This makes Taiwan the fifth country he has lived in.) He hopes to find a career that will allow him to make use of foreign languages. Diallo is entering his tenth year of pescetarianism, and has recently taken up swimming.
