Gary ChuNational Cheng Kung University
Site Coordinator Kaohsiung, Taiwan Gary is currently studying for his master degree in Chemical Engineering in National Cheng Kung University and focusing his research on solar cells.
TASC 2015 was his first international activity experience. TASC acts as a platform and offers him the opportunity to discuss social issues, ranging from education to politics, as well as conduct daily conversations with other delegates. His English was not the best among the Taiwanese delegates, but he could always talk open-mindedly with everyone. Hence, he built up strong friendships with many TASCers. Owing to the abundant gifts he got from TASC 2015, he decided to join the Executive Committee for TASC 2016. As a site coordinator, he is in charge of arranging the itineraries and inviting the speakers. Gary is going to graduate and leave school, meaning he may no longer be as free as he is now. He hopes he can create one more precious memories for his school life with TASCers this summer. |
