Jasmine  Wu

National Tsing Hua University
Marketing Director
Tainan, Taiwan
Jasmine was born and raised in Tainan and she is now a senior in National Tsing Hua University majoring in Economics. She had dedicated most of her first two years of college life to Whyou club, which aims to serve the disadvantaged students in elementary schools, and holds camps during school semesters, summers and winters for them. Serving as a tutoring head in the club, she went to primary schools to help the students facilitate their homework twice a week. It was when she found some problems that sparked her passion to join Modern Issues in Education roundtable in TASC 2015.

She enjoys drawing some interesting things in her free time and runs a  Facebook page Hooja 鬍渣鬍渣 to  share her works with the public. She also likes learning languages and has participated in some English activities such as NTU English debate workshop, Wenzao debate workshop, Fushing NTU debate open, Taipei Model United Nations and of course, Taiwan-America Student Conference. All of these experiences brought her much more than improving language skills, they also polished the skills of public speaking, critical thinking, and interpersonal connection. All of these are important nourishments in her life, and she keeps finding other vitamins that fertilize her life-long journey- among them is TASC 2016!

She is very excited to meet all the outstanding and zealous delegates in TASC 2016 and she anticipates to see the beautiful ripples made throughout the whole conference!
