Tim ChenNational Taiwan University
Taiwanese Chair Kaohsiung, Taiwan Hi there! My name is Tim Chen, currently a graduate student at National Taiwan University majoring in Chemical Engineering. I am focusing on electrochemical biosensor development and am planning to spend a year abroad as an exchange student next year. I was born and raised in Kaohsiung, a city in southern Taiwan. On campus, I am involved in a wide array of activities including serving the Taiwan-side coordinator of the Harvard-Taiwan Leadership Conference, as well as working as an intern at HTC Corporation. Additionally, I love music and enjoy playing all kinds of sports.
Attending TASC was truly a life changing experience that I will humbly appreciate for the rest of my life. What makes TASC so unique is its diversity in terms of not only the issues we discussed, but also the people who attended the conference. TASCers came from different parts of the world and they all share the same passion: to keep dreaming and take action. Although some of those dreams are so simple that people might question if it's truly worthwhile to spend that much effort on them, they still go for them. That is when these dreams become sacred and respectful. I am so honored to be leading the next TASC Taiwanese delegation. Please join us next summer as we continue our mission of nurturing the brightest minds in Taiwan and America. |
